Cielito Lindo’s amazingly affordable assisted living facilituy is situated at the heart of what is considered a continuous care retirement community (CCRC). Located just outside of beautiful San Miguel de Allende and in the center of the Rancho los Labradores private community. Cielito Lindo provides a full spectrum of a la carte independent and assisted living services to those living within the gated retirement community of Rancho los Labradores villas. And Cielito Lindo also provides suites for those requiring 24/7 assisted living, memory care or hospice care.
Cielito Lindo is first and foremost a passion. where its founder’s motives come from the heart with empathy and compassion for the circle of life. We exist to serve and ease those that have come to a stage in life, either by age or disease, where specialized full-time care is required. And we strive to serve the caregivers and the families because this can be an incredibly trying time for everyone. Your heart can rest easier knowing that we will take outstanding care of your loved one and we will do whatever we can to make your job easier as well.
Almost all organizations can tell you what the do, some can tell you how they do it, but few can give you a meaningful reason for why they do it, and without that, the coherence of their operations are fractured and lacking cohesion and clarity.
Our passion for architecture, community, and humanity compelled us to envision and build a one-of-a-kind CCRC (continuous care retirement community) leveraging the incredible affordability, warmth, beauty, culture, lifestyle and genuine care unique to Mexico. We were sure that we could provide something special that is not available anywhere else.
We set out to design and build a uniquely forward-thinking and beautiful community that provides a wide array of amenities, safety, convenience, affordability, while supporting a broad spectrum of lifestyles and needs; from fully independent living to assisted living and memory care.
We provide our services through a team characterized by their humanism, compassion, professionalism, warmth, and personal accountability for excellence; in an architectural environment of excellence, Mexican charm and beauty, ecologically minded, and representing the first center designed especially for these needs in Mexico. In this way, we can offer senior citizens a continuous spectrum of services complying with or exceeding the highest international standards of quality in the areas of residential, medical, nursing, nutritional, occupational, and terminal care.
Our History
Rancho los Labradores was founded as a master planned private community with a thoughtful and far-reaching vision, welcoming retirees to start enjoying the golden chapter of their lives while providing the various levels of in-home and full services care that may be required over time.
The Villas de Labradores project (first phase of Rancho los Labradores) was launched, offering senior friendly homes in a beautiful atmosphere affording comfort, conviviality and safety. Designed for seniors who want to live independently, A la carte services are offered including meals, caregiver support, recreational and social activities.
Cielito Lindo starts offering, 24/7 care services in a beautiful hacienda style building, with independent suites, common dining and activities rooms, beautiful gardens, thermal water swimming pool and caregiver supervision.
Cielito Lindo expands their services from Independent Living to include Assisted Living, Memory Care and Hospice Care. This also completed the continuous care vision for Rancho los Labradores from senior living in Independent Villas through to Hospice Care and everything in between.
Where is Whitney Now? takes the reader through the arduous twelve-year journey of caregiver Don Cramer. In his struggle to keep his own life balanced and thriving as he cares for his treasured wife, both of their lives are slowly erased by the unrelenting steamroller of early onset Alzheimer’s. Whitney was only 57 when she was diagnosed. Whitney now resides at Cielito Lindo.
We are constantly growing, improving and evolving so that we remain on the vanguard of care practices for independent, assisted, memory and hospice care.
Our Location
We are located just 8 miles north of San Miguel De Allende, Mexico. Cielito Lindo is nestled in the heart of Ranch Los Labradores, a lovely gated CCRC (continuous care retirement community) that provides safety, peace and community, yet it is so close to San Miguel that you can get there in less than 15 minutes any time you wish (via four daily shuttles, an Uber or a taxi). This provides the perfect balance of isolation yet easy access to and from San Miguel.
